Here are some inexpensive ideas:
Be creative! Yes that’s right, you can be creative. Using different and inventive applications, you will produce wonderful textures and glaze effects that are unique to you.
For a wonderful new look, try using old waded-up newspapers or old plastic bags, from your dry cleaning and the grocery store, as an application method for glazes. Simply wad up a small amount of plastic, or paper, and apply the glaze as you would a sponge. Or, apply the glaze with a roller or brush, and use the plastic or paper to pull the excess glaze off of the surface like a rag.
