Texas Paint is also the proud host of the “Color for your space” seminars by Charlotte Comer.

Born a Southerner, Charlotte Comer has lived and traveled the world, settling in Texas in the late 70’s, then permanently in Dallas in 1991. She brings a rich background and a talented eye to each unique design project.

She has designed furniture, fabric, rugs and commercial spaces, but her first love is working with the individual client and making a house a home. Often husbands call to say they are so glad that their wife is happy with the result, but even they like to come home because it feels so comfortable.

Pottery Barn 2010 Winter Colors

Look for the Pottery Barn™ Winter 2010 color displays, available now through January 2011, from Pottery Barn™ and Benjamin Moore and available at Texas Paint & Wallpaper. These colors are available in 2-oz wet paint sample jars and 18″ x 18″ jumbo dry samples as well.

The wet samples can be brushed onto your walls with a sponge brush to display the actual paint color when dry. The 18″ x 18″ dry paint samples will provide a fast and convenient way to move the color around the room, or the entire house to make your final color selection based on morning, noon-day and evening lighting in your home.

You will need to make your final selection of color in person, and not online. Color needs to be selected based on how it appears in your home, in your lighting, with your furnishing and in your surroundings. Don’t depend on a computer monitor because it cannot show the true color of paint, as it needs to be viewed.
